If Not Us, Who.

Most of my suffering and turmoil is self-generated. Apparently insight is 90% of the problem but how do I change ingrained patterns of behaviour that seem automatic? All that happens when I tackle myself is that anxiety increases and I become even more inflexible and unchanged. Usually a sense of humour snaps me out of this conundrum. Positive quotes act like quick shots of cognitive therapy by changing my thoughts.As cognitive therapy says thoughts precede emotions; change your thoughts and your emotions change.
